If the readings are out of limits then it is an indication that the parts being produced are faulty. This is a point that calls for decision on the sample such as rework, special release, scrap or sorting. These decisions are used later for calculating the cost of the quality and in the disposal of non-conformity
Action to eliminate the cause of a detected nonconformity. There can be more than one nonconformity. Corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence. Correction relates to containment whereas corrective action relates to the root cause.
