In Roll Number Tab, there are two frames (‘Current Roll Number’ and ‘Next Roll Number’) that are displayed each containing drop down lists for Machine Number, Product Code, Pass code, Batch Number and Roll number. The user can enter information of the next roll number to be processed in the frame ‘Next Roll Number’ by selecting values from the drop down lists provided.
When user clicks the ‘Assign roll No’ button then all information from the frame ‘Next Roll Number’ is assigned to ‘Current Roll Number’ frame. The ‘Next Roll Number’ frame is cleared. Now user can enter the next roll number to be processed. The readings received are stored against the Current Roll Number.
Getting Readings (Data) From Various Instruments.
PCS system and SCADA system will collect the readings (data) from various instruments located at different locations for every second and after one minute creates a file with collected data. Every minute QMS systems gets the data from these files and stores it into database for analysis.
When Splice takes place QMS will automatically assign the next Roll Number to Current Roll No and will make the Next Roll Number blank. In Lamination process, Splice signal will not be recognized automatically by QMS. When a Roll gets over in lamination process, user should click the SPLICE button from the Roll Number Tab.
Viewing the Parameter Detail Readings.
QMS displays 64 parameters at a time in Parameter Detail Tab. Using Previous & Next buttons user can view next or previous set of 64 parameters.
Viewing the Online Charts.
At a time user can view online charts for 4 parameters. By default X charts are displayed. By Right Clicking the chart user can view other type of charts for the selected parameter. The Next button will show the charts for next four parameters of the last parameter selected. The Previous button will show the charts for previous four parameters of the first parameter selected. The user can select up to 4 parameters for viewing charts, only from the current set of 64 parameters.
